Felicity Milne has been involved in creating gourmet food for 31 years. Enjoying a passion for both traveling and cooking, she combined the two after beginning her culinary career at the Cordon Bleu Cooking School in South Africa (her country of origin). Her travels and talent took her from New York State across the country to San Francisco, Tahoe, Hawaii, England and finally settling in the San Juan Islands in Washington State.

Felicity opened and operated Felicitations Bakery in Friday Harbor from 1998 until 2003 where the community was treated to everything from bread, pastries, soups and cakes. Since closing the bakery, she worked as a pastry chef in high-end hotels and in 2009 returned to Friday Harbor and put together her own commercial kitchen. Cakes by Felicitations creates quality from-scratch pastries, cakes and about 60 wedding cakes a year catering to the growing trend of destination weddings held in the beautiful island community she calls home.
